Happy 3rd Month!

This is quite a bit delayed in posting. But what can I say, A busy dad with a lot of work is quite hard to keep up with blogging. :)
Last December 30, 2006, our angel Em-M is now part of the Catholic community. She is baptized at the Parish of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary in West triangle. A get together celebration was done in Cabalen, West Ave.

Baby MONTHbirthday

When our angel reached 1 month last November 23, 2006, my wife bought a cake for her. This is to celebrate her baby monthbirthday. So the picture shows her cake together with her special dress.

Since my wife just like to take pictures and pictures and pictures of our angel, I decided to post some of them. So here it is.

Smiling Angel

As Emem was sleeping, we happen to chance this angel of ours smile. As my pediatrician cousin medically informs me that part of the REM or Rapid Eye Movement that occurs during sleep, smiling or sudden crying occurs.

However, even if it is medically explained, I still appreciate the wonder God has made by providing a joy to see an angel smile. :)

First month

This is a picture of Emem during her first month. She is initially placed on bottle feeding using Nan HA1 formula. But eventually her mommy and I preferred she be breast fed. Take note of how she sort of holds the bottle by herself. That pose she has is not made up. She did that by herself. :)

Singing a Lullaby

As part of putting baby Emem to sleep, singing a Lullaby is what me and my wife do. Her grand mother Carmen does a tremendous task in helping us with our angel. Since it is our first time to take care of a baby, Mother Carmen is always there to pitch in.

Sleeping Beauty

This picture was taken at home during the first month.
It is so nice to see her sleep and then smile while still asleep.
As the "oldies" tell us, the baby is playing with her guardian angel. (Nilalaro ng mga anghel)

First few hours after birth

This was taken while she is placed in the nursery for observation.
She is not thumb sucking, it is just the way she was positioned then wherein she seem to be. :)
Take note of her large amount of hair even just after delivery.
